How To Write A Successful Blog Post Quickly?

I sleep.

I promise.

I also write and publish 14 to 30 guest posts weekly.

Or more.

How?

I learned how to write successful, helpful guest posts quickly.

If you desire to become prolific and want to churn out helpful posts fast remember this: quality beats quantity, but when you read voraciously and practice writing religiously you can have both quality and quantity.

Which brings us to tip A1…..

Tip A1: Read Voraciously and Practice Writing Religiously

This is the tip of tips; unless you follow it, all the other tips are worthless.

Read voraciously about your niche. Acquire knowledge to share via blog posts.

Write 1000 words daily for practice in a Word document.

Trash the document after you hit the 1K mark.

Reading and writing voraciously turns you into a blogging cyborg, a guest posting machine that spits out helpful, valuable, successful posts at a breakneck pace.

1: Time it

Give yourself a set time frame to write your blog posts.

Since work typically expands to fill the time allotted for work you will tend to hit the time bullseye and complete the blog post quickly.

I devote 20 to 30 minutes to writing most blog posts, save longer form deals.

I almost always finish, proofread and format posts within this 20 to 30 minute window.

2: Outline it

Create an outline to allow your blog post to flow smoothly so you can write said post quickly.

Creating post outlines establishes order in your mind.

Orderly minds proceed in calm, clear, efficient fashion.

Meaning you will churn out posts like hot cakes when you work from an outline.

I list my tips, steps or reasons via a blog post outline.

I tackle each point one at a time.

Doing so makes me prolific because I write 3 to 5 guest posts daily following this simple habit of establishing a blog post outline before diving it to beef it up with some content meat.

3: Write What You Know

Write what you know to write posts quickly, easily and relatively effortlessly too.

During my dingbat days I tried covering all topics under the sun, blogging-wise.

This led to struggles, straining, striving and some long nights trying to write even a single post.

Let go what you don’t know.

Stop being a Jack of all trades.

Master one trade.

Focusing on one blogging topic – whether on your blog or on other blogs – gives you confidence and clarity in covering that topic inside out.

Which helps you write the post quickly and easily.

Save heavy technical insight themed blogging post, I can write a 700 to 1000 word long blogging tips themed post in 20 minutes or less.

I know blogging.

I know how to write helpful posts related to blogging quickly, easily and efficiently.

4: List Practical Tips

List practical tips to write more quickly.

I love writing and publishing practical tips themed posts.

Readers want practical tips to use quickly for their benefit.

Writing practical tips style posts creates order in your mind as it is easy to think of a list and share a few key points about each list item.

Orderly minds are immune from chaotic thinking.

Minds free from chaotic thinking proceed in the flow, meaning your writing will follow this peaceful, calm flow, resulting in you writing the blog post stupid fast.

5: Edit After

Edit posts only after you finish writing the post.

Save your time.

Let words flow.

Most bloggers struggling to write valuable posts in a set time frame ruthlessly edit, re-edit, and double re-edit their work before completing the post.

This blocks your flow of creative ideas which slows down the writing process.

Finish your first draft.

Even if it looks like a blogging version of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre you can hack it down after allowing the words to flow quickly and easily through your mind to fingers to keyboard to Word document.

6: No Need for a Play Shakespeare

Some bloggers wrongly believe “long form” equals “successful.”

Not true.

Some readers enjoying my post only need 1 of these tips to write posts more quickly.

Other readers just need 600 to 800 words to solve their pressing problem of slogging through blog posts they began writing during the Ice Age.

Keep posts short and sweet to churn out a high volume of successful, helpful blog posts at a quick clip.

Being brief helps you to make an impact in many places at once through an aggressive guest posting campaign.

Your Turn

The Benefits Of Starting A Blog (And How To Do It!)

Starting a blog was never so easy but after reading this post you’ll realize that it was! 🙂

Want more people to find your business?

Want more people purchasing your product?

If you haven’t already, you might want to consider starting a blog for your small business.

There are many benefits to having a blog, but they require a tremendous amount of work to maintain and update regularly.

There’s a lot to think about when initially setting up a blog, as well.

Hosting, design, branding, content calendars… the list goes on.

I’m going to share with you how to start a blog (step-by-step!) and the benefits you’ll get out of starting one.

It’s not always easy, but it can be done!

First, let’s start with why starting a Blog?

What’s your reason for starting a blog in the first place? What good are they?

Statistics show that 60% of businesses who blog acquire more customers.

Having a blog will help you in many ways, but let’s highlight the top four:

Build a business online

Having a blog will help generate more leads to your business.

Not only that, but with more organic traffic coming to your blog, you’ll be able to start making some money online via affiliate marketing, ads, and giving visitors the opportunity to become potential customers.

Build a personal brand

Blogging gives you the opportunity to not only let your business shine, but it helps you be more visible online when people search for you.

They’ll be finding information that is more professional and see that you are creative, driven, and have a multitude of skills.

Build your personal and professional network

As your personal brand grows, you’ll be more visible online.

Because of this, you have the opportunity to grow your personal and professional network.

You’ll be able to be a part of a community of like-minded individuals.

Learn a new skill set

Beyond growing a business, starting a blog and maintaining it really does help build your skill set.

Think time management, writing, organization skills, social media skills, and analyzing data.

You’ll be more familiar with networking, search engine optimization, A/B testing, and inbound marketing.

Now that you know why to start a blog…

Let’s dive into how to get started.

Step 1: Find your “WHY”

I know I just covered some very good reasons why you should start blogging for your business.

You’re probably looking for more customers, more partnerships, and more income.

Those are all great… but they’re not enough.

Hear me out.

Blogging is not easy, and like anything good, it takes time.

Writing about something you love or a topic you want to know more about can help make running a blog easier.

Which leads us directly into the next step in starting a blog.

Step 2: Find your niche

You’ve probably seen this word floating around the world of the internet frequently.

What’s a niche, exactly?

A niche is a topic.

It’s something that you’ll want to position yourself as an expert on.

Having a niche can help you keep your content consistent, so people will know what they expect when they visit your blog.

Deciding to just write about health, for example, might be a little too broad.

You have to narrow it down a little bit.

Think weight loss, beauty, fitness, healthy living, healthy recipes, or healthy lifestyle content.

Yeah, it’s that specific. But trust me – it helps.

Narrow down what it is that you’re passionate about and how it relates to and can help you build your business and brand.

Bonus tip: Once you’ve decided what your niche will be, try writing out a mission and vision statement for the business blog.

You’ll be able to return to this statement to make sure you’re being on-brand and giving your audience what they’re expecting.

Bonus Info on choosing a niche: Blog Name Ideas, How to come up with a blog name?

Step 3: Pick a web host

Here’s where we get into the technical side of things.

Your blog needs a home – and it’s usually hosted by a web host provider on their server.

If you already have a site for your business, just use the same web host provider you’re using and create a subdirectory for a blog.

Example: smallbusinessname.com/blog or bornblogger.net/blog (This is my blog’s example).

If you don’t have a site set up already, you can host your future business blog through companies like BlueHost, eHost, or even WordPress self-hosting.

They make it very easy to set up a plan and payment option.

The next step is to install your blogging platform.

For simplicity and brevity, I’ll be using WordPress as the example.

Step 4: Install WordPress

Most web host providers have WordPress one-click installs.

That’s right – just one click.

That’s it.

It’s really that easy.

Next, you’ll want to pick a theme and make your site beautiful yet functional.

Step 5: Find a Theme

There are a few things I always look for when choosing a theme for a blog.

You’ll want something that is:

  • Mobile-Friendly
  • SEO Optimized
  • Easy to navigate

There are a ton of free themes available for WordPress, and most of them are customizable to an extent.

If you’re ready to splurge a little bit for your business blog, check out their premium themes.

These themes typically are more customizable, and include all the features I mentioned were important above.

Once your site is functioning well, it’s time to brand yourself.

What if I offer you all these qualities in one theme for free, even!

You heard it absolutely right buddy, Check our theme and download it for free here:

Born Blogger Pro – Genesis Child Theme

Step 6: Brand Yourself

Now that you know what you’ll be writing about for your business blog, it’s also important to establish a personal brand outside of that so others know you’re an expert in your field.

You should work on your personal brand as much as your businesses brand.

I suggest picking two social media platforms to be active on.

I recommend Twitter and Instagram for the sake of networking, sharing, and creating a visual representation of who you are.

The other important thing to note when branding yourself is that your imaging and messaging stay consistent.

Using photoshop, or a free tool like Canva, can help keep your images clean and beautiful.

Step 7: Create a content calendar

Your business blog and personal brand is set up now.

The next step that’s crucial is to create a content calendar so you know what days you are going to post and when.

This helps make your readers familiar with your patterns and they’ll know when to expect content in the future.

I recommend posting at least three times a week, but you should only start out with what you know you’re capable of maintaining and stay consistent.

Try coming up with weekly themes (i.e. motivation Monday), monthly recaps, or quarterly recaps that you want to do throughout the year.

That will help start to fill in the gaps.

Step 8: Always provide value

Almost everything you write should strive to teach something, share a lesson learned, or provide value in some way.

There’s always room for other content, but in order to build yourself as an expert and gain traffic to your business blog, your posts should be informative and fun to read.

Happy blogging!

Starting a business blog is a lot of work, but if you remain consistent there are a lot of benefits that can come from it.

Blog Name Ideas: How To Come Up With A Blog Name?

I was starting a new blog 3 months before, everything was in my mind at that time.

I planned the strategy, design (in fact, bought the theme) and I even made the strategy of articles, like how I’ll going to post and on which topics etc.

But………

The only problem was of coming up with the blog name that stand out from the crowd.

I know the time when I was searching for a great blog name.

I was messaging my Facebook friends for getting blog name ideas but didn’t even worked for me, as I was in a need of best blog name ideas.

I was craving for getting a great blog name but I didn’t got any yet.

Whenever I thought a good blog name it was already registered, Quite spooky 😛 That was headache, to be honest!

When I was searching on the internet, I got some tips from the giant Google when I wrote “How To Come Up With A Blog Name“?

I got so many great tips for getting my blog’s name, after searching for almost 5-6 hours, I got the domain which is “Horror Sensations”.

I thought why not write a post on the same topic along with my experience.

I’m not giving you a blog names list nor I’m sharing best blog names ever here but I’ll give the tips which is never shared before.

Let’s have a great blog name today.

You can grab a cute blog name too that attract visitors.

After reading this post, I hope that you don’t need to go anywhere else. 🙂

Let’s tweet this now!

What is a Blog/Domain Name?

First thing is first, in this video you’ll learn about what is a domain name and how it works which is created by Godaddy.

Blog Names Categories

There are two categories that revolves around blog names and these are:

Branded Blog Names

What else better than a Brand?

I always go with the Branded Blog Names as these names are the perfect ones if you want to build a brand online.

What else should I tell about these blog names as these names can convert into powerful brand.

It doesn’t matter if it’s self branding or company branding.

Let’s take an example:

Neil Patel is having two blogs and both are his brands.

One is “Quicksprout.com” and second is “NeilPatel.com”.

In these both domains he can post anything even it’s not relates to blogging as he haven’t bought EMD or generic blog name, he is having his own brand.

Exact Match Domain/Blog Names (A.K.A EMD)

Simple definition of EMD is “Blog name same as your niche”.

That domains are very SEO friendly and User Friendly as users will know what your blog is all about and EMD are more likely to rank than a Branded Blog Name.

It will be the blog name that will do not have any brand name or any registered trademark.

Let’s take an example:

Francis having a blog name called “bloggingtipsandtricks” and his blog niche is on “Blogging”, if we add spaces then it will be like “Blogging Tips and Tricks” so it means he is having an EMD and he will get more traffic than a branded blog name’s post on the same topic.

This is what we call “Exact Match Domain/Blog Name“.

In the end, I would like to say that, in my case I’ll go with the Branded Blog Name that will be easily understandable.

Don’t go for a shortcut as you can’t change your domain name after choosing one as many metrics already involved in your previous domain.

Things To Be Considered While Selecting A Blog Name

I’ve added this section here because I want you guys to know what happened to me.

Actually, I bought Googlegags.com long ago.

I was so much happy, to be honest, as I got a name that was having a quite good searches and having Google’s brand name in it.

But….

The happiness was not for the long time because I was having a domain name which is having a brand name.

Google can simply claim a copyright infringement.

Let’s have a look on the things that we shouldn’t do while choosing a blog name.

Copyright Infringement

We should avoid a domain name that is having a brand name.

The brand name owner can simply do a case on you if you own a domain name with the name of their brand.

Let’s take an example, If we buy WordPressTricks.com, GoogleGags.net, YoastSEOPlugin.org etc. then they can send us a legal notice at no time.

You’ve to avoid this, if you want a permanent and an authority blog.

Adding A Name Of The Affiliate Product In Domains

Most of us do these this for getting an EMD but are we sure that the Product owners will allow us?

I don’t think so, If you are even promoting their products but they’ll not give you your commission for sure.

I would like to suggest you to contact them first before buying a domain name same as their product name.

Effective Tips For Coming Up With The Blog Name

This is what we all waited for, Blog name is so so so much important thing to consider as this is the thing that can build trust in User’s eye.

Finding Your TOPIC’s Related Keywords

My main topic/niche is blogging but blogging is a vast field.

Blogging have many sub niches/related keywords.

Like I’m giving tips on SEO, Making Money Online etc. that what we call our related keywords.

Let’s take an example of Brian Dean of Backlinko, he always give tips on SEO, infact his blog’s name is related to the SEO’s one of the category “Backlink“.

You can even choose your sub niche of your main niche and then you can change it into a brand name, like Brian did. 🙂

Extensions Doesn’t Really Matters Now

Whether you buy .com or .not, you can really survive and can rank your blog easily.

I’m not going to talk about my blog here, leave it, I’m going to talk about one of my friend’s blog.

Let me tell you that my friend’s keywords are ranking on the first page of Google with 1 million searches per month.

Imagine, how much he will be making per month.

I’ve checked his AdSense account and I was shocked, to be honest, he was making more than 3 lac per month and sometimes 500$ in a day.

Now let’s come to his extension, actually his blog is not even EMD, his extension is .pw and ranking with this domain.

You might be thinking about the competition matters, but the keywords he is ranking on are of high competition.

Now tell me that .com really matters?

Even, I’ve .net and this site having a lot of traffic, Alhamdullilah!

At the end of the day, you can choose any of the extension, it really doesn’t matters.

We’ve one more example which is Tech.co 😀

So, Go on!

Should You Secure TLDs For Your Blog Name?

If you’re going to buy domain that is a branded name then you should buy it’s every TLD (If available).

That will help you to build an authority blog.

No one can have a blog name like you, it’s authority itself.

If we talk about Problogger.net of Darren Rowse, he later bought .com version of his brand Pro Blogger.

This is called the real branding, if you want authority sites like Darren Rowse then you should buy TLDs of your brand name.

In this post, Darren explained this topic more deeply.

A Short Name Will Help?

If we talk about a great blog name that is unforgettable then we should have a short blog name.

Born Blogger is short, word to word and unforgettable blog name.

We should have a short blog name that will be last forever in readers minds.

Will Parents Can Help In Coming Up With A Blog Name?

You might be thinking that how parents can help in selecting a great blog name, My thinking was the same, until and unless it happened with me.

Let me tell you my story.

I was shaking my head for a blog name for my this blog.

Mom came and told to have a dinner at the dinning table.

I told my mom that I’m really frustrated today.

She said, Why?

I said, Mom, I want to select a blog name for my blog but I’m not getting any idea.

Well, Mom said, that you’re blogging from a very young age.

After that she said that why not coming up with a blog name that will be related to your age.

I said, Hmmm… but how?

At the last, she said, to buy Born Blogger.

That was great to be honest.

And I was very very and very happy for this blog name.

As usual we all first search our blog names in a .com version, but I didn’t got.

After thinking a lot, I thought to buy .net version.

So here it is in front of you. 🙂

Why not go to your parents now, and ask them to help?

Parents are parents! 😉

Can We Use Numbers & Hyphens In The Domain Name?

Using hyphens or numbers in our blog names is not a great idea.

If it was coming in your mind, go and throw it now in the bin near you.

It’s not even healthy in terms of SEO.

You should avoid having a blog name with hyphens or numbers.

Having EMD Is A Better Idea?

No doubt, having EMDs are good but wait……

These domains can harm you too, can destroy your blog too.

Let me tell you that Google have an algo who give penalty to spammy EMDs.

In my opinion, It’s better to have a branded blog name.

Let’s take example of Shoutmeloud, it’s a great blog which is having no PMD (Partial Match Domain) or not even EMD.

We should always have Branded domain name.

Having Partial Match Domain (A.K.A PMD) Is Good?

Let me first explain you about Partial Match Domain.

What is Partial Match Domain or PMD?

A domain with some matched keywords of your niche are often known as “Partial Match Domain”. i.e: Born Blogger

Using partial match domain is better than having EMD.

You can make a branded blog name by using Partial Match Domain, like I does.

Having keywords in your blog name is a good idea but anything can be ranked through high quality and SEO friendly content.

Choosing My Own Name As A Blog Name Will Effect?
